In July we got new breeding stallion, 22 Maestoso Romida 8. Stallion has very nice, reliable character, good, elastic walks and very good working ability. He was approved in Sweeden and has left many top foals in diferent coutries. In September arriving to Slovenia!
On 23rd of May Slovenian private breeding association and Stud Lipica celebrated Day of Lipizzaner. This year event took place in Stud Lipica which is celebrating this year 430 years of her exsistance. We participated in breeding collection of mares with our mare 606 Janja XXII.
In begining of April our 575 Favory Barbana III changed his home and was transported to Norway. Congadualtions to his new owner Ms. Solgunn Selland! In the same time we bacame reacher for dark coated breeding stallion 23 Maestoso Gaetana, son of World famous 206 Maestoso X Mahonia.
On 09th of October our young stallion 575 Favory Barbana IIIwas transported to Rosastable. He will spend another year running around the pastures and continue next year in dressage training. Thank you for kind support of our friends Saskia and Ronald Verberne!
On 27th of September validation of private breeding assotiation mares and stallions took place in Stud Lipica. Our young hope 531 Monteaura XIX, filly 3,5 year old was validated as a 2a breeding class mare.
On 24th of May private breeding assotiation and Stud Lipica have celebrated the Day of Lipizzaner. We participated in exhibition of breeding mares and stallion with our breeding mare 606 Janja XXII at Brdo pri Kranju.
We responded to an invitation of our friends and breeders Ms. Saskia and Mr. Ronald Verberne and visited a breeding validation of Lipizzaner horses in private breeding assotiation of Netherland.
LIPIZZANS TO COSTA RICA
In December of 2007, a complex project of selecting young, breeding quality horses, and exporting them overseas has started.
An international team of over 20 Lipizzan enthusiasts took part in it so far, and gave their valuable contribution in successful completion of all crucial aspects.
In the meantime Ms. Renata Nemec, a happy and grateful new owner of the horses, continued working on establishing her “Alegria Lipizzans Stud” at her Hacienda Alegria in Costa Rica.
By September of 2008, five beautiful horses of Slovenian and a mare of Serbian origin were ready to cross the Atlantic, where they will continue a long and noble tradition of their ancestors:

On 02nd of February our stable has become richer for two breeding mares, Trofetta VI and Andalusia P. They were bought in Breeding and training centre Moravita, Netherland.
On 06th of January our stable is richer for a breeding mare 606 Janja XXII. Janja belongs to rare Karolina bloodline.
On 13th of October 567 Zenta was branded.
