PRP 2023 - 2027

As part of Direct Payments, we implement interventions:

INP01: Basic income support for sustainability - ODPT

The intervention is intended to improve the income situation of farmers, but at the same time it also contributes to the provision of public goods, as the beneficiaries must meet the conditions of conditionality. It is a single support per eligible hectare, which replaces payment rights, and is independent of the current volume of agricultural production.

INP02: Complementary redistributive income support for sustainability

Supplementary redistributive income support for sustainability (redistributive payment) is a new intervention, namely an "additional payment" to the basic income support for sustainability, which contributes to a fairer distribution of direct payments.

  1. INP08 - Schemes for climate and environment - within the framework of this intervention we implement INP08.1 Extensive grassland - EKST
    INP08.1 Ekstenzivno travinje – EKST

The SOPO intervention is a novelty in direct payments, with which we want to contribute to establishing a balance between the need to grow food and protect the climate and the environment. The schemes are more demanding than conditionality, they go beyond normal agricultural practice and the relevant minimum requirements for the use of fertilizers and plant protection products and animal welfare, as well as other relevant mandatory requirements laid down in national and EU law, and go beyond the conditions laid down for agricultural activity in the form of maintenance agricultural areas and at the same time differ from above-standard surface interventions from rural development (e.g. KOPOP).

IRP01: PAYMENTS TO AREAS WITH NATURAL OR OTHER SPECIAL LIMITATIONS (OMD)

The payment for areas with natural and special restrictions (hereinafter: OMD payment) is a non-production payment, which is allocated as a payment per ha of agricultural area. The OMD payment is intended in Slovenia. compensating part of the additional costs and loss of income, which in the area in question are linked to natural or other restrictions specific to the individual area. The payment depends on the severity of the restrictions affecting the agricultural holding in the OMD compared to the area outside the OMD.

IRP18.02: AGRICULTURAL-ENVIRONMENTAL-CLIMATE PAYMENTS - NATURAL RESOURCES (KOPOP_NV)

The purpose of the KOPOP_NV intervention is to support agriculture in its environmental function and promote above-standard sonar agricultural practices, which are aimed at proper water management and soil management and reducing the negative impacts of farming on the air.

The intervention we carry out:

NV.12 Senna preparation (operation SENENA)

The intervention we carry out:

Operation BK.12 Living with large beasts (ZVE) - Protecting the herd with a shepherd (ZVE_PAST)

IRP19: ORGANIC FARMING

The purpose of the Ecological Farming intervention is to encourage agricultural holdings to implement a nature-friendly way of farming, which contributes to the preservation and improvement of biodiversity, the preservation of drinking water sources, soil fertility, cultural agricultural landscapes and the protection of the environment in general.

The intervention is also important from the point of view of the growing demand for locally produced organic products. In Slovenia, demand is significantly higher than supply, which is why the shift to organic farming is important for the development of local markets, represents a market opportunity for growers and encourages greater inclusion in the Organic Farming quality scheme.

Organic farming ensures the production of high-quality and safe food, with rich nutritional value and a high content of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, while at the same time minimizing all forms of pollution as much as possible.

As part of the Organic Farming intervention, the maintenance of organic farming is supported, as well as the conversion to organic farming. The duration of conversion to organic farming will take place in accordance with EU Regulation no. 848/2018/848. Plants must be in diversion for at least two years, and permanent plants must be in diversion for at least three years.

IRP42: LOCAL BREEDS AND VARIETIES (LOPS)

The aim of the LOPS intervention is to conserve genetic resources by encouraging KMG to raise local breeds of domestic animals that are at risk of extinction and to produce local varieties that are at risk of genetic erosion.

The intervention we carry out:

LO.1 Lokalne pasme (operacija PAS);

On the farm, we breed horses of the LIPICANEC breed, which is an endangered breed.
